This model, unlike the mini utrecht designed specifically for children, is instead the Extra Large version of the product designed back in 1937 by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld and sold worldwide by Cassina. This is a restyled version of the original design, to remain present in any case in historical cultural setting which overlooks Cassina.

Cassina Utrecht XL Armchair consists of a supporting frame, seat and back in plywood and solid pine. Cassina Utrecht XL Armrests are in solid poplar while the padding is in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Cassina Utrecht XL Armchair Coating is not removable and is optionally available in fabric with leather with visible stitching up of natural color horse. The legs are made of black plastic.
